For some of us it will simply mean we’ll missout on that onenight of summer that Kenny Chesney made an annual party… for others it is a business, paycheck, or opportunity, that will be put on hold.
Kenny Chesney tells the new issue of Entertainment Weekly that he’ll be sitting out 2010 as far as a major tour goes. In the exclusive interview (suspiciously coinciding with a Saturday defeat of his beloved Tennessee Vols?) he say’s he not quitting totally. He’ll still be making records and perhaps doing one-off shows but the full throttle exhausting touring is done until he can recharge.
Kenny will spend the time trying to “be a good friend” and reconnecting with friends and family. Although this is a change of pace for Kenny this is also a huge change for his band and the many folks that have been on the touring payroll over the last nine years.
Read the details in the latest Entertainment and make plans to see Buffet instead next year.
