Just announced: Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will team up for the musical event of 2012, the ‘Brothers of
the Sun’ Tour.

The 19-date stadium tour finds Chesney, who consistently has crowds ”eating up his every word and move,” joined by McGraw for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“Tim and I have been great friends since we first toured together, and I can’t wait to get
back on the road with him,” Chesney said. “He’s one of my closest friends in music and in life, and I know this tour is going to be something special.”
“Our friendship was forged on the road, so it‟s going to be a blast heading out with Kenny
again,” sez Tim. “We‟ll be having as much fun on stage as the fans will be having in
the audience.”
‘Brothers of the Sun’ will be the first time in 10 years that Chesney and McGraw have hit the
road together. The reunion will kick off June 2 in Tampa, FL and will feature stadium shows
on weekend dates at venues across the country, including Charlotte‟s Bank of America
Stadium, Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, Dallas’ Cowboys Stadium, Detroit’s Ford
Field, and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. ‘Brothers of the Sun’ will also feature special
guests Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Jake Owen.
The announcement after Chesney’s massively successful ‘Goin’ Coastal’
Tour, which blew away more than 1.3 million fans, making it the year’s biggest country
tour. A four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year winner, Chesney will be honored at CMT‟s
Artists of the Year event on December 13. “Reality,” Chesney’s fifth single from 2010‟s
„Hemingway‟s Whiskey,’ was shipped to radio in October.
McGraw is a three-time GRAMMY winner who has had #1 singles in each of the last three
decades – 32 in total – including the title track of his most recent album, ‘Southern Voice.’
His 2010 tour in support of that album was the year’s biggest country tour. “Felt Good On
My Lips,” from his double-CD „Number One Hits,’ spent three weeks at #1 earlier this year.
McGraw is also an accomplished actor, having starred in films such as the Oscar-nominated
blockbuster ‘The Blind Side’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Friday Night Lights.’

Kenny Sells a Million tickets after a year off.

Kenny Chesney

Kenny Chesney has sold more than one million tickets on the hottest tour of the year, his 2011 Corona Presents Kenny Chesney’s ‘Goin’ Coastal’ Tour, making it an amazing eight times the superstar has achieved these blockbuster numbers. It’s more proof of why Billboard just named Chesney “the biggest ticket seller in country music and among the elite touring artists in the world.”

Chesney has sold nearly 10 million tickets since 2002, and after a year off the road in 2010, this year finds the superstar once again filling stadiums and arenas around the country. The New York Times and USA Today spotlighted ‘Goin’ Coastal’ atop their lists of 2011’s biggest, while The Wall Street Journal called Chesney one of a “handful of acts still capable of filling stadiums.”

“We’ve had a blast so far with ‘Goin’ Coastal’ and there have already been so many memorable moments,” Chesney said. “After taking time off in 2010, seeing all the fans out there still supporting me really puts a smile on my face, and to know that they¹re having fun makes it all worthwhile.”

For his ‘Goin’ Coastal’ dates, Chesney has been mixing current hits like the fast-rising new song “You and Tequila” (with Grace Potter), “Live a Little,” “Somewhere With You” and “The Boys of Fall” from 2010’s ‘Hemingway’s Whiskey’ (BNA) with many other of his 22 #1 singles.

About Garth Brooks
Certified by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) as the #1-selling solo artist in U.S. history, Garth Brooks has sold in excess of 128 million albums. He has received every accolade the recording industry can bestow on an artist.

In the midst of one of the most successful careers in music history, Garth retired in 2001, delivered his last record for Capitol Records and moved back to Oklahoma to raise his children. While in retirement, when called upon by events greater than his own self-interest, he returned to the stage.
The President himself requested that Garth headline President Obama’s Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial. He performed as Barack and Michelle Obama, their girls, Joe and Jill Biden and a crowd of over 300,000 lined the mall from the Lincoln Memorial all the way to the
Washington Monument. It was a moment in history when all did the “wave” to Garth’s performance of “Shout” while the President sang along. When the governor of California asked for Garth’s help, he responded by performing five concerts in two days, where proceeds from 83,000 tickets sold were donated to efforts to prevent fire catastrophes. Portions of the live concerts were shown as a TV special, Garth Brooks: Live in L.A., where viewers donated to the organization Fire. He recently finished an astonishing nine concerts to raise money for the flood relief efforts in Tennessee.
ABC World News Tonight declared Garth “The Person of the Week” and the mayor of Nashville came on stage during his last performance to announce that this was a record December for downtown Nashville merchants due to the over 145,000 who attended the concerts.

It’s no secret that Average Joe’s Entertainment’s Colt Ford is the epitome of the fan-driven revolution of the traditional music industry. In just three years, he is nearing double-platinum digital single sales, has reached over 500,000 in album sales, performed over 500 dates, and garnered his first Academy of Country Music Awards nomination for Vocal Event of The Year for single “Cold Beer” (feat. Jamey Johnson). Showing no signs of slowing down in 2011, the grassroots country phenomenon will release his third studio album, Every Chance I Get, to digital realms and stores nationwide on May 3, 2011.

The album’s debut radio single and opening track, “Country Thang,” features co-writer and Billboard #1 Songwriter of 2010 Dallas Davidson on vocals as well as a special album-only version with Eric Churchas guest vocalist. Written by Ford and the so-called “Peach Pickers” of Music Row– Davidson, Rhett Akins, and Ben Hayslip, the release is Ford’s fastest rising radio single on the Country Billboard andMediabase charts. On April 22, the music video for the song will debut worldwide on CMT andCMT.com during their Big New Music Weekend.

Every Chance I Get was produced by Shannon Houchins, Jayson Chance and Phivestarr Productions – Houchins and Chance also partnered with Ford for his 2010 Top 10 release, Chicken And Biscuits—and will feature guest vocals from Tim McGraw, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Charlie Daniels, Josh Thompson, and more (full track listing below).

As a songwriter, Ford is most proud of the album’s song “She Likes To Ride In Trucks” which he wrote and included for his 16 year-old daughter, Annesly.

“I wrote this song for my daughter. She’s 16, coming of age, and I’m not the man in her life anymore, her boyfriend is. She wants to do her own thing, chase her own dreams, and she doesn’t need me as much as she used to. Whenever I do this song live, it’ll choke me up. It’s about real life, and real life is hard sometimes,” said Ford.

Ford also co-wrote “Work It Out,” “Waste Some Time,” “This Is Our Song,” “What I Call Home,” “Overworked and Underpaid,” and album stand-out, “Twisted” (feat. Tim McGraw).

Performing over 200 shows in both 2009 and 2010 on tour with Jason Aldean, Hank Williams Jr., as well as headlining his own theater and club dates, Ford will likely top that number in 2011 in support of his new album.

Kenny Chesney’s “Gone Coastal!” After months of planning, preparation and anticipation, Corona Presents Kenny Chesney’s “Goin’ Coastal” Tour sailed into sunny Florida where the fans had been waiting a long time for a party that only Kenny Chesney can throw!

The tour opened on Thursday night in West Palm Beach, and The Palm Beach Post heralded Chesney’s performance as “Flawless,” and added, “Chesney holds thousands of fans in his spell. Everyone is absolutely focused on him for two solid hours of on-your-feet time.”

The show also included Chesney’s friend and duet partner Uncle Kracker on the #1 song, “When the Sun Goes Down” and singer Billy Currington who is enjoying his 4th consecutive # 1 single. Chesney also welcomed to the stage special guest reggae singer Mishka for Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds.”

The party in West Palm Beach also included friends of Chesney’s such as football legend Joe Namath, Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys, Mike Vrabel of the Kansas City Chiefs, Wes Welker and Matt Light of the New England Patriots and Steve Hutchinson of the Minnesota Vikings.

Chesney Live 2011

Saturday marked the first of 11 stadium shows when the tour cruised into Tampa Bay’s Raymond James Stadium. By 2:00 pm the parking lots around the stadium were overflowing with tailgaters partying to Chesney’s music, grilling and warming up to welcome Chesney back to the stadium where he hadn’t played since 2006.

When Chesney took the stage on Saturday night, the sold-out crowd of 50,548 went coastal! The two-plus hour set included many of his 21 #1 hits, from “How Forever Feels” (1999) to his latest #1 song, “Somewhere with You,” plus album cuts and classic songs. He also welcomed some special musical guests to join him, including a 30-minute jam with Zac Brown Band. In describing the Tampa concert, Sean Daly at the St. Petersburg Times wrote: “man, oh, man, did we need a day like this one and a concert like that one” while drawing comparisons between Chesney’s band, AC/DC, Alan Jackson, and U2.

The atmosphere was lively backstage, too, with lots of family and friends. Also on hand were New York Yankees Nick Swisher, Super Bowl winning and Monday Night Football commentator Jon Gruden, Philadelphia Phillies players Cliff Lee, Roy Halladay, Roy Oswalt and Chase Utley, and former player John Smoltz.

The tour now sets the compass north for next weekend’s shows in Des Moines, IA (3/24); St. Paul, MN (3/25); and Omaha, NE (3/26). Chesney’s current album, Hemingway’s Whiskey, is nominated as Album of the Year from the Academy of Country Music, and it includes the current song, “Live a Little,” and the #1 singles “The Boys of Fall” and “Somewhere with You.”

Pre-sale tickets are available to fan club members through www.dierks.com, while the general public will be able to purchase tickets beginning Jan. 21 and Jan. 28 through Ticketmaster. The remaining cities will go on sale over the coming weeks.

“It’s a good thing we’ve got a video crew on the road with us capturing everything that goes down,” laughed Bentley. “Putting my band, Josh Thompson, the Miss Willie Brown girls and a few thousand fans in a Jagermeister sponsored room with loud country music sounds like a pretty solid recipe for a great night!”

Bentley is currently in Nashville working on material for his next album. Fans can expect the first single this spring and will be able to get glimpses of the recording process along the way through dierks.com. The new album will follow in the footsteps of Bentley’s artistically daring and critically acclaimed

UP ON THE RIDGE, which recently received three GRAMMY nominations. The Phoenix-native has won countless awards, headlined arena tours, sold over five million albums, and celebrated seven No. one hits (“What Was I Thinkin,” “Come A Little Closer,” “Settle For A Slowdown,” “Every Mile A Memory,” “Free and Easy (Down The Road I Go),” “Feel That Fire,” “Sideways”) since being signed to Capitol Records Nashville.

Columbia Nashville recording artist Josh Thompson stormed onto the country music scene with his debut album WAY OUT HERE – debuting in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart and earning praise from countless critics, including NPR’s Fresh Air, Billboard and People. Thompson wrote or co-wrote all 10 tracks on the album including his current single, “Won’t Be Lonely Long,” which follows previous hits “Way Out Here” and “Beer On The Table.” The blue-collar road warrior played over 240 shows last year ranging from headlining club dates to sold-out arenas with Brad Paisley.

A&M/Octone’s first country release is the vibrant new female duo Miss Willie Brown, comprised of Amanda Watkins from West Virginia and Texas native Kasey Buckley. The two girls met in California waiting tables, instantly bonded over a deep love of country music and have been writing and singing together ever since. Now living in Nashville, the duo is recording their debut album with award winning producer Keith Stegall (Zac Brown Band, Alan Jackson) and will release the lead single in the coming months. Miss Willie Brown has been busy honing their live performance chops opening shows for artists including Dwight Yoakam and Billy Currington. They are also the only unsigned band to ever perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
