Chesney will be joined onstage for a special performance with Tim McGraw, with whom he is touring for the first time in 10 years this summer during the blockbuster, 20-stadium ‘Brothers of the Sun’ Tour, with Chesney and McGraw.

‘Welcome To The Fishbowl,’ Chesney’s 13th studio album, follows 2010′s platinum-certified ‘Hemingway’s Whiskey,’ which spawned four #1 singles. Chesney’s ACM nominations include Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year for ‘Hemingway’s Whiskey’ (as both artist and producer), and Song of the Year for “You and Tequila” with Grace Potter.

Singer-songwriter Kenny Chesney scores his 23^rd # 1 single this week with “Reality,” which he co-wrote with longtime writing partner and friend Brett James. Their previous collaborations include the chart-topping “Out Last Night,” the Top 10 “Keg In The Closet,” and “Spirit of A Storm,” from Chesney’s introspective ‘Lucky Old Sun’ album.

The idea for “Reality” was born in a dentist’s chair. Chesney says, “I was lying in the chair, I had the mask on, you know, where they give you that funny gas, so they can work on your mouth without you feeling it, and I remember thinking, ‘Wow, I haven’t been this relaxed in a long time.’ That was my escape from reality and that’s what the song is about. And when people come to our shows, they’re not thinking about what’s going on in their job or school, they’re having fun, escaping reality and I’m glad to be a part of that. I say it every night on stage we all got problems but for the next couple of hours, let’s push them aside and relax. That’s how I feel about it!”

Chesney leads the Academy of Country Music Awards pack with 9 nominations including Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year (Hemingway’s Whiskey as both artist and producer), and Male Vocalist of the Year. He also earned double nominations for Single Record of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year as both artist and producer for “You And Tequila” with Grace Potter.  Chesney is also nominated for Song of the Year for “You And Tequila” with Grace Potter.

On June 2, The ‘Brothers of the Sun ‘Tour starring, Chesney and Tim McGraw, kicks off in Tampa, FL. Mercury's Scotty McCreery

ACA New Artist Award winner Scotty McCreery is keepin’ it real as a normal Garner high school senior, despite his Idol stardom and the screaming Scotty fans during his run on Brad Paisley’s 2012 tour.

Now with weather warming up and touring schedules changing, the North Carolina native is anticipating playing baseball for his school in Garner.  He’s looking at college too. Scotty has already been accepted to East Carolina, with applications still out to North Carolina State, Belmont and Middle Tennessee State University.

Baseball is the first task at hand as his role on the Paisley tour comes to an end March 3rd in Lexington.

The attention to his hometown and highschool has – from afar – seemed somewhat normal.  That could change as the American Idol PR machine starts it’s engines for the new year.  Watch for him to appear soon on a live American Idol show(to sing his hit The Trouble with Girls or an anticipated new single from Clear As Day?)

It has been a tough past year for the band that is still rebounding from a tragic stage collapse that shocked the concert and festival world.

The new tour will be innovative. They tell fans “The tour will rely solely on YOUR requests to determine the set list played in each city.”

“This year’s tour is based around the concept of putting the show into the hands of the fans,” said Jennifer. “THEY will make the requests that will help form the set list and guide the show. Through texts, handwritten signs, the Internet (Twitter, Facebook, etc) phone calls made during the show and selections directly from the stage, the fans will become the conductors as well as the audience. If it’s on one of our records or if we’ve played it on a stage it is fair game.”

Just announced:  Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw will team up for the musical event of 2012, the ‘Brothers of
the Sun’ Tour.

The 19-date stadium tour finds Chesney, who consistently has crowds ”eating up his every word and move,” joined by  McGraw for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
“Tim and I have been great friends since we first toured together, and I can’t wait to get
back on the road with him,” Chesney said. “He’s one of my closest friends in music and in life, and I know this tour is going to be something special.”
“Our friendship was forged on the road, so it‟s going to be a blast heading out with Kenny
again,” sez Tim. “We‟ll be having as much fun on stage as the fans will be having in
the audience.”
‘Brothers of the Sun’ will be the first time in 10 years that Chesney and McGraw have hit the
road together. The reunion will kick off June 2 in Tampa, FL and will feature stadium shows
on weekend dates at venues across the country, including Charlotte‟s Bank of America
Stadium, Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field, Dallas’ Cowboys Stadium, Detroit’s Ford
Field, and New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium. ‘Brothers of the Sun’ will also feature special
guests Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Jake Owen.
The announcement after Chesney’s massively successful ‘Goin’ Coastal’
Tour, which blew away more than 1.3 million fans, making it the year’s biggest country
tour. A four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year winner, Chesney will be honored at CMT‟s
Artists of the Year event on December 13. “Reality,” Chesney’s fifth single from 2010‟s
„Hemingway‟s Whiskey,’ was shipped to radio in October.
McGraw is a three-time GRAMMY winner who has had #1 singles in each of the last three
decades – 32 in total – including the title track of his most recent album, ‘Southern Voice.’
His 2010 tour in support of that album was the year’s biggest country tour. “Felt Good On
My Lips,” from his double-CD „Number One Hits,’ spent three weeks at #1 earlier this year.
McGraw is also an accomplished actor, having starred in films such as the Oscar-nominated
blockbuster ‘The Blind Side’ and the critically acclaimed ‘Friday Night Lights.’

Own The Night / Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker (both Capitol Record labelmates) head out on more dates on the Own The Night 2012 World Tour. The arena tour kicks off Jan. 27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma with Rucker and Lady A being  joined by new Broken Bow artists Thompson Square, and it will run through June 2012.

The tour will be a showcase of music from Lady A’s top selling and well reviewed Own The Night album.

It’s no secret that Average Joe’s Entertainment’s Colt Ford is the epitome of the fan-driven revolution of the traditional music industry. In just three years, he is nearing double-platinum digital single sales, has reached over 500,000 in album sales, performed over 500 dates, and garnered his first Academy of Country Music Awards nomination for Vocal Event of The Year for single “Cold Beer” (feat. Jamey Johnson). As a songwriter, Ford is most proud of the album’s song “She Likes To Ride In Trucks” which he wrote and included for his 16 year-old daughter, Annesly.

“I wrote this song for my daughter. She’s 16, coming of age, and I’m not the man in her life anymore, her boyfriend is. She wants to do her own thing, chase her own dreams, and she doesn’t need me as much as she used to. Whenever I do this song live, it’ll choke me up. It’s about real life, and real life is hard sometimes,” said Ford.

Ford also co-wrote “Work It Out,” “Waste Some Time,” “This Is Our Song,” “What I Call Home,” “Overworked and Underpaid,” and album stand-out, “Twisted” (feat. Tim McGraw).

Performing over 200 shows in both 2009 and 2010 on tour with Jason Aldean, Hank Williams Jr., as well as headlining his own theater and club dates, Ford will likely top that number in 2011 in support of his new album.
